TEACHING ENGLISH AS SECOND LANGUAGE
This course provides participants with a thorough foundation in theoretical and practical issues in English as a second language teaching. Students examine the following topics: principles, approaches, methods, techniques and differences of face to face and online teaching; assessment of learner needs; lesson planning; classroom management; the evaluation and adaptation of ESL materials and resources. We offer weekly assessments and Mock teaching to determine the development of the participants. This course also provides oral and written practices for Academic and conversational English which is also important as a teacher of English for other non-native speakers.
